Radio practice your students can repeat.
Consistent, repeatable radiotelephony practice between lessons, checked the same way every time, with assessment your instructors can read and explain.
What exists, and what comes next
Labelled as it is today. Nothing here is a promise of a result.
Repeatable radio practice outside aircraft time
LiveStudents say the ground calls out loud, as often as they need, to a controller who waits and a check that is the same every time. Each run generates a fresh exercise, so they practise the skill, not a script.
Deterministic, explainable assessment
LiveEvery required element of a readback is marked by fixed rules: correct, not said, wrong or unclear. An instructor can see exactly which element was missed and why it counts, with no AI opinion in the score.
Your fleet as the callsigns
Foundation builtStudents fly your own registrations and types, such as YR-ABC · C172, spelled in the ICAO alphabet the way they are said on the radio. The fleet data model exists; managing it from a school account comes with the school product.
Student progress
Foundation builtEach student's checked elements, skills and sessions are recorded as evidence, and the debrief names what to practise next. The per-student record exists today; a school-wide view does not yet.
Instructor visibility
With the school productSeeing your students' sessions and weak elements across the school, and assigning practice before a lesson.
Assessment you can explain to a student.
The check is a rule per element, not a score from a model. The same readback gets the same marks, for every student, every time.

- Speech recognition turns the call into text; the rules decide what is correct.
- Unclear audio is never counted against the student: they are asked to say it again.
- Every mark is kept as evidence, so a student's progress is traceable to real calls.
How a pilot works
We are looking for a small number of schools and ATOs to shape the school product with.
Talk
A short call about your students, fleet, phraseology and where radio practice would help most.
Set up
A small group of students trains on the ground lessons, with your registrations where possible.
Review
Together we look at what the checks recorded and what your instructors need next.
No commitment and nothing to pay. We reply by email.
Questions from schools
Is this approved training?
No. Freqwise is a practice tool for radio communication. It is not approved by any authority, does not count towards a licence, and does not replace your instructors, your examiners or an approved training device. It is meant to make the time with them go further.
Which phraseology does it use?
An ICAO-based European training convention, on a fictional practice airfield. The content has not yet been independently reviewed. Differences from your own procedures are exactly what a pilot should surface.
What does it cost for a school?
Organisation plans are priced per school and are not decided yet. A pilot comes first.
What happens to student data?
Audio is streamed for speech recognition and not kept, and transcripts are not stored. The results of each check are stored so progress works. The draft AI and data processing page describes it in full.
